New York City (post 9/11)

Just a few short weeks after 9/11, we went to NYC to visit our friends Rich and Michael, who had an apartment on West Street, just a few short blocks from Ground Zero. From their roof, we could see the devastation and destruction, which became only more apparent when we walked up the street to get a better look. It was a truly moving experience.
