22 September - Kaitlin & Dan’s Wedding

Well, Kaitlin and Dan’s wedding day has finally come and gone. In spite of torn Achilles tendons, rainy weather, and the mysterious appearance of a runner, the day went off with hardly a hitch. Kaitlin was a beautiful bride, and she and Dan never looked happier.

The weekend started with a rehearsal and dinner at the Allendale Bar & Grill. Jenny and Kevin had conspired to put together a slide show of photos, including pictures of Kaitlin and Dan as babies and of their lives together. The wedding day itself started out cloudy, with a little rain, but the weather had cleared up by the time of the wedding, at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ. After the wedding the party continued at the Doubletree Hotel in Mahwah, NJ. We partied into the wee hours even after the reception was over, at the hotel bar.

Kaitlin and Dan are off to NYC for a couple of days for a mini honeymoon. The excitement continued when they arrived at the hotel to find that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is staying at the same hotel! They’ll be doing some sightseeing tomorrow before catching the show at Comic Strip Live.
