After 40 years, Dad finally retired from Con Ed, and the Fauerbachs, Candy and I joined him and Mom for a party thrown by his buddies at the Fiddlers Elbow in the Bronx. It also happened to be Mom’s birthday! The next day the others joined us for a cookout at home in Airmont.
