Jacquie’s 2nd Birthday
Saturday, July 12th, 2008At the end of the week, we drove up to NY and CT to see our newly returned war hero Tim and his family, and attended his daughter’s 2nd birthday party, along with a special guest appearance by Minnie Mouse!

Stay-cation
Wednesday, July 9th, 2008With the high price of gas and limited time, Candy and I took a “Stay-cation” this year. We took a couple of days to see some of the sites of our own hometown, the Nation’s Capital. On Tuesday we visited George Washington’s home at Mount Vernon. On Wednesday we checked out the new Newseum and the National Museum of the American Indian.
